Experience

Christine Marks is a Manager in Client Accounting Services and Operations, with more than 25 years of experience in accounting.  She leads client accounting engagements while overseeing the operational processes that keep teams, workflows, and deliverables organized and on schedule.

Her client work spans the full accounting cycle, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, period-end close, and the preparation of management-ready financial statements.  As a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Christine advises clients on accounting software selection, implementation, and workflow design, and provides training to support more effective day-to-day financial operations.  She also assists clients in bringing delayed or incomplete accounting records current, creating a reliable foundation for management reporting, lender requirements, and tax preparation.

In addition to her client responsibilities, Christine oversees the day-to-day operations of the practice, including engagement scheduling and capacity planning, workflow and deadline management, client onboarding, billing administration, and the development of systems and procedures that support the team. She plays a key role in coordinating work across staff, partners, and clients and in keeping engagements progressing efficiently.

At RLN, Christine works closely with the firm’s partners and accounting and tax teams to ensure client records are accurate, current, and prepared well in advance of reporting and filing deadlines. She also helps standardize processes across a growing and geographically diverse client base, supporting the continued growth of the client accounting practice while maintaining a consistent level of service
