Experience

Aferdita Nezaj is the Managing Partner of RLN US LLP and leads the firm’s audit and assurance practice. She is responsible for the firm’s strategic direction, growth initiatives, and overall management.  She serves as the primary relationship lead for key clients, providing sustained partner involvement, accessibility, and senior level attention throughout each engagement.

Aferdita has more than twenty years of experience across audit and assurance, tax, business valuations, regulatory reporting, restructuring, and financial advisory. She began her public accounting career with Ernst & Young and KPMG and later worked with Deloitte Financial Advisory, where she managed audit and advisory engagements involving complex financial reporting, internal controls, alternative investments, business valuations, and operational due diligence.  Her audit and assurance work includes PCAOB audits of public companies as well as engagements across the nonprofit sector, asset management, financial services, and manufacturing.  She works closely with clients on complex technical accounting and financial reporting matters.

Aferdita also brings tax experience serving businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals. She advises clients on tax compliance, planning, reporting, and related financial matters, providing an integrated perspective across audit, tax, and advisory considerations.

At UBS Investment Bank, Aferdita held a senior role in CCAR and FR Y-14A regulatory reporting, developing stress-testing and forecasting models and processes, internal controls, data-quality processes, and regulatory-readiness initiatives. Earlier in her career at GE Capital, Aferdita worked with financially distressed businesses on debt restructuring, due diligence, and complex financial and legal matters.
